  • This 2-ply yarn is a mixture of several sheep breeds of wool: cheviot, horned dorset, & finnish landrace (hence the name, mixed bag).   • 2-ply handspun finnish landrace. 1 ply is purple, the other multicolored. Hand processed from raw: picked, washed, dyed, carded, combed & spun. Fleece from small New England producer. 2ply; 2.8oz; approx.  106 yards; approx. 7 wpi Handspun on my Lendrum & plied on my SpinOlution wheel.

  • This was a popular product that was sold out & I cannot get the charms anymore. I found a couple of strays in the studio. Paired with a 14kt gold-filled disk (11mm in size) manually engraved with an letter of your choice at time of order. On a 14kt gold-filled chain (choice of length). The ladybug is not gold-filled but of a good quality.

  • This two ply yarn consists of 2 sheep breeds: horned dorset and cheviot. I acquire my fleece in person from small suppliers in New England and wash/dye/card/comb and spin - a handprocessed yarn from start to finish. 2ply; 3.7oz; approx.  164 yards; approx. 7 wpi Handspun on my Lendrum & plied on my SpinOlution wheel.

I drum carded together cheviot wool dyed a cherry pink color - the cheviot was processed from raw by myself (picked, washed, dyed, combed) - with a fawn colored alpaca.   • This was a fun experiment. Romney sheep wool a blue/green hue (dyed roving purchased from a small producer) spun and plied with metallic thread. I then chain plied the original 3-ply yarn. Suggested needle size US#5 - US#6
